BEWARE OF FACEBOOK ATTACKS BY PHISHING
Phishing attacks are one of the most common scams on Facebook. The goal of these scams is to obtain your Facebook user name and password. If successful, thescammerscan totally take over your Facebook account and use it to spread more spam and scams to your friends. They can alsomineeveryone in your network for data they can later use for identity theft or other socially engineered attacks.
Here are some examples of popularphishingschemeson Facebook:
1.Facebook Lottery– You’re likely to receive an email stating you’ve won a sum of money. These can also be advanced fee scams.
2.Confirm Your Account– Any messages asking you to confirm your account should be viewed with extreme suspicion. If you receive an email like this, don’t follow any links. A better option is to log in to Facebook directly.
3.Violated a Policy– Hacked accounts often send messages posing as ‘Facebook Security.’ If you encounter one of these scams, you’ll notice that Facebook Security will be spelled with non-traditional characters. This is done to bypass Facebook’s filtersPhotos & Videos - Thescammersattempt to capitalize on our curious nature. You will receive a message from a compromised friend’s account asking you to look at this photo or video. A popular theme is to say the picture is embarrassing or they can’t believe you did that, etc. Other variants of this scam contain files laden with malware.
Most all of these scams direct you to external links to pages designed to look like Facebook. Before logging in to any site, always verify that you are indeed on the main site. Careless and unsuspecting users are often fooled by these tricks.

TRACING MOBILE NUMBER OR PHONE LOCATION
Today i will explain the three different methods to trace a mobile number.
1. Tracing Manually from Wikipedia.
2. Tracing through Website or Internet.
3. Tracing through your mobile phone (phone must support Javaapplications ).
Method 1 : Tracing Manually by looking to Code Planning Table.
Using this method we can trace the caller manually i.e. we have to make some effort to see the Code planning table which you can get below:

How to use this table to trace mobile number or phone ?
All mobile numbers in India havethe prefix 9 , 8 or 7. Each zone is allowed to have multiple privateoperators. All mobile phone numbers are 10 digits long. The way to split the numbers is defined in the National Numbering Plan 2003 as XX-YYY-NNNNN where XX is the Network operator, YYY is the Mobile Switching Center and NNNNN is the subscribe numbers.
Now you can easily break a number in three parts and trace it accordingly in the table.
Method 2: Tracing though website
This method is quite simpler you have to visit to the following website and put the mobile number you want to search in the search box and click on enter. It will search its database according to National Numbering Plan for mobile devices and returns you the required result.

Method 3: Tracing through your Java Enabled mobile
In this method we use a small java application which is loaded with above coding plan for offline phone usage. There we have to install the java application in the mobile.

ShaPlus_Mobile_Info.jad (click this to install from phone)
After Installing run the application. Now there you will see the box to type the mobile phone number that you want to trace. Put it there and click on find. It searches its database and return you the location and operator of following mobile phone number

One of the most common practices amongst today’s software developers is to leave certain kind of “backdoors” within operating systems. These “backdoors” essentially allow any users with sufficient knowledge to get into the system at a much deeper level than you’d expect from normal users. These backdoors aren’t always meant to be used for malicious intent, as they allow programmers to get into the system for troubleshooting when other usual access modes have been blocked. And to developers, they can be quite friendly and helpful if you know what you’re doing.
Smartphones also have a good share of backdoors as well, but they’re generally known as “secret codes”. These numeric/symbolic sequences allow you to access hidden menus, diagnostic tests etc. for various uses. And for those devices that run on Android, certain codes are shared across the board, and therefore can be used on a variety of devices.
We’ve listed a collection of some of the hidden secret codes for Android phones. To use these, simply open up your phone’s dialer and punch in the characters as shown.
Now, since most hidden menus are manufacturer specific, there’s no guarantee that they’ll work on your specific device, but you can try them out nevertheless on your Samsung, HTC, Motorola, Sony and other devices.
